I remember Dorthy from year 10, when we were in biology class. She was a kind and unaffected person, and easy to feel comfortable around. We kept up a nodding acquaintance at Idaho State College, and went our separate ways, though both of us became educators. Knowing what I do of her career, I'd say her accomplishments are greater than mine, and I expect that many of her students were helped by her wisdom and purpose.
